About My friend and I took went for a hike to this lookout yesterday, and was able to see this. If you are ever in Eastern Ontario I recomend a trip to the Thousand Islands and a boat tour, you'll find it well worth the trip.

Very nice capture of winter atmosphere with sunshine coming through the clouds and glittering snow in the bottom of the picture.

Nice capture, I like fact that you included many grounds. I would like to suggest something if I may: 1) I would have placed the sun more centered.
2) You could also have brighten the snow a little more using levels and white balance in post-shot production.
3) Try to make the orizont line look more straight.
4) The footprint in teh foreground are a little disturbing

I attach a quick fix-up...what do you think?
Best regards
Donato

Thank you very much for your constructive critisism. I had a vision of what you suggested, but did not know how to achieve it. I do like your quick fix - everything looks cleaner.

Thanks for the comment, Ashley. They are very rare now!

I like this sun dazzling image, in your snow-shrouded, vast land. Some good contrast and lighting. The inclusion of the foot prints, adds a human touch to a stark landscape.

I love the lonely but peaceful atmosphere of this shot. Nicely done; I can only think thst the exposuere was a tricky one, trying to over exposuse for the snow to be white, but the luminary supended high up in the sky to tricks on you.
Ilke this shot.
