Thanks John, the horseshoe bay is Emily Bay hence the name of the image. I should have mentioned the two islands are Nepean (closer) and Phillip and there endeth todays geography lesson :)

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 2/13/2006
Thanks Rashed, the colours on the ground behind Emily Bay (its a golf course by the way) were because of the drought they were having. It changed to become quite green by the time we left.

Great view Bruce, that looks like a nice beach. I like how you have a little bit of the wing in the picture, gives you a sense on where you are taking the picture from.
Cheers,
Chris

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 2/16/2006
Thanks Vanessa, yes we were lucky to get the bonus aerial view of the islands.

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 2/16/2006
Thanks Chris, yes, a nice beach and very popular with the locals and visitors alike. Its very calm as its sheltered by the reef where you can see the surf breaking.

Oh wow! This picture is just captivating. The perspective you attained here is beautiful. Brilliantly executed here Bruce, freakin excellent job!!

Ken :)

Looks like an awesome place to surf ;)

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 6/16/2006
Thanks Ken, there wasn't any surfing while we were there, but there are several places where the surfing is good. Being in the middle of the Pacific I guess there's not much to stop the waves rolling in!
