A BIG WOW Don.. This looks fantastic, well done on your first panoramic posting. Great colours and details in the shots and an excellent job in stitching them together. Best wishes to you my friend....Ray

I've always wanted to see this Don...You did a super job with the panorama work...wonderful detail & presentation

Shane O'Neill   {K:3064} 2/13/2006
great effort - I take it you took the shots in horizontally? In future try flipping it around in portrait style and record your scene liek that - more info to be obtained!

Don Loseke   {K:32503} 2/13/2006
Yes the shots were taken horizontaly and hand held as didn't have tripod handy. You take more shots vertically and then stitch together??
Thanks for the info Shane. Don.

Petal Wijnen   {K:48024} 2/13/2006
Fabulous panoramic shot!!! Grand view, great stitching, pin sharp from rim to rim, beautiful colors and sky (I love the cloud shadow on the right)... well done Don!!!

Don Loseke   {K:32503} 2/13/2006
It is one huge hole Larry. Not much else there other than this. It is private and I don't remember the fee. Don.

Shane O'Neill   {K:3064} 2/13/2006
yes Don - all in vertical, much more info to be obtained, next time you try it [in the shooting stage] you will see it makes a lot of sense!

best of luck

Shane

I saw this thing about 30 years ago & never forgot it. Besides the other big hole out there, about the most awesome sight. Nice job on the panorama

Very nice for first try, Don. I have yet to do it myself. Another thing on my 'must do' list. Great scenery. Cheers, Ann.

Nice first attempt at a panoramic. The composition is great.

Jim Goldstein   {K:21230} 4/23/2006
Nice stitch work. The clouds definitely make the shot. I haven't been here since I was a kid. Very well captured. Its exactly as I remember it.
