It's cool how you can see both sides of the bridge behind the hill there, but I wonder if this might have been stronger if it was composed more with the tower on the left side of the frame so the tower and moon become balancing elements. The multitude of different colour-temperature lights all being distinct adds nice variety, and the exposure looks pretty well controlled. Nice stuff.

I'm guessing that's a double-exposure with the moon, eh?

Jim,

What can I say but Awesome! Great detail and lighting. But I have to ask - did you add in the moon - if so it adds a really nice touch to the photo - if you did add the moon, then what a find and truly a great capture.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

Kevin... I have several versions of this but what makes this shot unique is the inclusion of both spans of the bridge popping up behind Coit tower. Having the tower off to the left would nullify that element. The majority of Coit Tower photos fall into that left side composition. I wanted to be sure to try something different. To offset the centered tower I made sure the moon was included in the frame. Seeing as how my camera doesn't include a double exposure feature this is a combination of two images. Both exposures were taken at the same time. Had I been shooting film this would have been a true double exposure.
