What a simple subject yet you have brought it out so well. The lines are great and the Brass railing just sets it off. Great Job.

Wonderful eye for the unusual and the unique forms in life...or....great find! :-)

What I would say would just repeat with others stated, so I'll just say: brilliant shot.

a great composition. what type of lighting did you use?

Todd Miller   {K:16464} 2/5/2003
Henry,
the stairwell just happened to have perfect lighting. since the walls were all light colored, the light kind of bounced off the walls and just diffused throughout the area. i don't know if they were fluorescent or incandescent though.

the highlight near the center of the image is from a light directly below.

Todd. A sweet image again. A day on shoot with you would be great fun. I love finding photos where you least expect them. Nice draw into this photo frm the btm right. Simple lines, a bold statement and nice subject materials to finish. I'm not gonna rate this shot but give your overall portfolio an 8 for quality and 10 for interest & inventiveness. (if there is such a word!)

Great composition here, with excellent placement of the lines.

A prime candidate for the B&W treatment, in my humble opinion.

...one of you old images missed by me...great light and color here...I love the way it almost makes you want to watch for feet so you don't trip...K

Antonio Trincone   {K:23167} 4/17/2005
interesting view; it would fit quite nicely the actual project

Lori Stitt   {K:74464} 4/18/2005
Hi Todd,
You have two fantatic photographs on the front page. Both showing perspective, yet both so different.

This one very contemporary! Makes a great abstract as well.

Well done,
Lori :)

José Vasconcelos Dias   {K:9189} 6/15/2005
Great perspective! Very well executed! Congrats
