Ok my turn.... first off Mary you are like myself starting to see light......Its a wonderful thing! You really used it well here by capturing it bursting through the clouds and making a beautiful play between highlights and shadows creating wonderful tones! Knowing where your from and loving the sun as much as you do, I can see you smiling as you peer though your view finder to snap of this image!!
We as Photographers, be it pro or amateur are truely blessed as we grow in our art!!

Hi Mary....This is a great and dramatic sunset with unusual colourings...burnt orange, rusty reds and a hint of blue left in the sky. I love the way the sun's rays are bursting out from behind that central cloud formation. Well done to you.....Best wishes...Ray
