About a bit of a detail of the frost coated walls. Dust in the air causes some of the frost to be darker in colour.

Exposure on this photo was probably only 3 or 4 flash bursts

Most unusual tones caused by the dust. It seems to settle in layers or certain areas to cause the patterned lines. Great textures. It looks almost quartz like but it's obviously the ice which gives it the sparkle. I think I would have been quite claustrophobic in such enclosed type conditions. Really interesting.

I doubt you would have been claustophobic in this mine, Ann. Most tunnels were 5x5 m and the main travelways were much bigger in general... The beauty of the frost in these smaller area would have enticed you I am sure!! Thanks for the comment!!
