I like how you composed it, the angle of the shot for the composition... I like the depth of this shot... nice photo Kambiz!

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 2/14/2006
Thanks Khaled.
I am not sure "Happy Aashoora" is an appropriate word, as this month is a month of mourning.

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 2/14/2006
Thank you Debasish for your comment.

Hi Kambiz,
Actually my friend I do know that this month is a month of mourning, sorry my friend if you understood me in a wrong way.... take care,
Khaled.

That's fine.

Lori Stitt   {K:74568} 2/15/2006
I like your composition here Kambiz, but I need this one explained to me. What the picture means.

Like the bright colors against the neutrals.

Very good job,
Lori ;)

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 2/15/2006
Thank you Lori for your comment.
Dear Lori, in order to find out, it would be better for you to look at the first few images in the Muharram subdirectory of my portfolio. Then I am very sure you get an idea.

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13535} 2/15/2006
Kambiz, what a wonderful array of images you have in your portfolio. Thank you for commenting on my Lilly photo - it has led me here to view your images.

Hi Kambiz,
I've started reading, your very first photograph had a link, I began to read that. So much to digest. There was also a link to the 'Shia News',
I've been reading that for over an hour now.

I like to learn of other cultures and beliefs. All countries seem to be so intolerant of others, it's sad.........

I'll continue to read!
Thanks,
Lori :)

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 2/15/2006
Thank you Phillip for your comment.
I am glad you managed to discove another nitch in this site.

Lori, good for you to discover something that you didn't know B4.
There are other people with different customs live on this Mother Earth perhaps very near to you.
I used to live in the USA. The only news that I could hear was about South, Central America and Mexican. That's all!!
I guess when you travel, "you" would notice that there are other people, tribes, dynasties live around, sometimes much much older than your original tribe, i.e. the original American, I mean "Red Indians".

And you are NOT alone.

Tell the truth one of the reasons that I went to America, was my curiosity about John Wayne movies which I brought up with them. He played as a cowboy, sheriff and killed the poor Red Indians without any reasons.
Then I travelled to one Red Indian reservation and I found out the " T R U T H".
Pehaps it would be much better for you to understand by traveling to Far East, Middle East, and so on. and find out the " T R U T H".
As Agent Scully in X-File Movie says:

==>> THE "T R U T H" is out there!!!!

Great documentary series Kambiz. I like this one the best from a photographic p.o.v. it has a lot of visual interest, good perspective and excellent clarity. I like the metal sculptures and the colorful poster, great photo! Best regards, Ina

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 2/16/2006
Thank you Ina for your comment.
I was almost getting disappointed not to see you again.
By the way I wonder if I could have your email address.

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 2/16/2006
The reply is going through a filter. You'll get it later, I guess.

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 2/16/2006
Dear Ina, I am a computer illitrate. Don't know about filter business.
Would it be possible to write your email address and send it to my email address:
kombizz@yahoo.com
I would appreciate it.
Namaste'
