About This was taken between two major storms that hit the area. I was drawn to take this image because the normally gigantic Golden Gate Bridge was so clearly dwarfed by everything around it.

Of note this photo is part of my photo a day for a year effort. To view more of my images visit my web site:

Thank you for your time and comments.

Splendid image, Jim! Big, big sky... Definitely not a candidate for a panorama crop!

Thanks for your comment on my picture of the bridge, Jim. This one is taken from an unusual perspective. I like it a lot. I never made it to the other side when I was there last week. Now I wish I would have.

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 2/18/2006
Fantastic composition, and as everyone has said, very unusual - the bridge not being the focal point, but rather a small side reminder of how big the elements of nature are compared to our built environment. Very dramatic sky radiating from the horizon, awesome beauty and painterly colors!

Bravo! Un cordial saludo de
Josep

Kiarang good call on the contrast. A little more contrast makes a big difference. Thanks for passing on your recommendation.
