Great Capture Jase! What an amazing place heh? Did you get any there at sunset?

Jason Mckeown   {K:20380} 2/17/2006
thanks Rob, this is sunset LOL just a summer one. i also didn't expect the sun to set that far south of these as all photos i've seen of them the sun is setting somewhere behind them, pissed though this was put in under Pano Setting and was compressed, grrr.

John Pitman   {K:8401} 2/17/2006

Classic landscape. Great lighting and you were quite fortunate to have such dramatic clouds in the sky. Very appealing image.

Eb Mueller   {K:23296} 3/21/2006
Nice work, Jason! This is beautiful photographic lighting. Nice print quality from the Bronica - which I assume to be 6x9 cm format.

Thanks for your comments Eb, they are always welcomed. the Bronica is only a baby one it's a 645 but the quality is great even compared to the Canon Digital

Now, Jason, this is one place I would love to visit.

I know every other photographer in Australia has been there and captured it, however, every photo you see is different.

This is just beautiful. The lighting (early morning, I presume) is just wonderful! A fantastic image, Jason - well captured!

Cheers

Phil

Wow! This used to be my home town - I lived in Warrnambool for a while. I've got many shots of the 12 Apostles, but none as beautiful as this. Is this taken before or after one of them fell down?

Shane O'Neill   {K:3064} 6/4/2006
really nice colour - did one of these fall down recently??!

Jason Mckeown   {K:20380} 6/5/2006
Thanks Shane one fell down just over 12mths ago

Jason Mckeown   {K:20380} 6/5/2006
Thanks for the comment MJ, this was taken after one of them fell. you can see the rubble to the left of the most RH Apostile.

Roger Skinner   {K:66257} 10/2/2006
hmm typical..when we visisted the 12 APOSTLES it rained steadily for a week... but it fined up the day we left
