About Picture taken in the City of Bam, IRAN right after the devestating Earthquake. These displaced people even though they had litterally nothing, they run out of their tent to find something to offer to us. Apples was the catch. Amazing people that even in the most difficult situation they were hospitable to the maximum.

Excellent photo, looks like something made by a Magnum photographer. Did you push the film? Jonathan.

Nicolas Iordanou   {K:3313} 2/18/2006
Dear Jonathan, thank you so much for your kind words. No I did not push the film. All the best.

I like the message of this shot.
it's a hopeful shot with those fire lights and also has a painful feel in the black & white contrast.
nice documentary feel.
bravo my friend...just pitty for the resoloution and quality!

This is a great emotional shot, I like the graininess, it really adds to the shot the apple add much to the image, I would have liked to see the camera tilted down a bit to add more image to the shot with less of the black top.... but overall a beautiful shot!
-great eye,
ryan
