Michael,
I was looking at your barn photos...great captures...however I really like the perspective on this one and with the cluds in the back ground it gives it more of a powerful feel to it.

I'm glad you enjoyed this photograph. Please stay safe, certainly combat photography is a lot more dangerous than looking at old barns and landscapes.

Excellent use of BW here! It accents the amazing textures and patterns of the barn boards and sky. In this instance, color would serve as a distraction.
I also like the way that you have framed the peak in the center of the shot, as an abstract arrow pointing skyward. Some might say it appears as an accusing pointer to the sky, which is responsible for the decay seen here, but also responsible for the beauty. Great work!
