Q: What else should I consider before posting a critique or a rating?
A: - The critique is respectful of the opinion and beliefs of others.
- The critique discusses the photographic merit of the photo or topic in question.
- The critique aims at assisting others to improve their skills in photography.
- The rating you leave on a photo reflects the opinion expressed in your critique.
John, the above is from the UF FAQs located in the HOME pull down menu....these rules will help you to learn what is allowed and expected at this site ...mutual respect and tolerance of global community differences goes a long way in helping to keep UF a pleasant site to learn from

hi,my other comment above was not for you...
Thanks for the info in the about...i think this would be a stronger photo if you were closer and focused more on a few sharply with a shallow DOF showing others in a slight blur...

Kambiz,i can understand your reaction,but i would strongly suggest that you stop posting comments slamming "him" thus avoiding more problems for yourself here at UF...be the "better person" and let it go.....you have done your part by reporting the abuse...abusers are watched closely

Thank you Gayle for reminding me.
Tell the truth when I read his nonesense about my "own culture" made me extremely angry.
I DO NOT MIND if a knowledgeable person about the Iranian tradition give his/her opinion which I am going to listen.
It seems to me he is sitting behind his monitor and give comments to different events in other countries WITHOUT KNOWING NOTHING about them!!
If I were him after 65 years living on this Mother Earth, he should know by now, should RESPECT about these diversity of different traditions in our planet.
Again I am sorry that his words made me so angry that I wrote those nasty words.
Hope readers forgive my bad action.
