Chris, I thank you for your interest. The flower is common, at least in Italy. It is a zinnia, whose blossom is not jet complitely open.

Thanks Meldijana. Sarajevo and Rimini are not far, as parallel. This flower is a zinnia, a very common plant in Italy and therefore not exotic for you and me. The view it's unusual because the flower is not jet completely blossomed.

Thank you Giuseppe for the explanation,the flower is really beautiful and you were ther in time to catch this special moment.you are also right,Italy is close to us not only because of neighborhood..We are expecting your great artist ,Luciano Pavarotti here at the beginninig of April.Because of his engagement for peace throughout the most difficult period for us and his help in supporting young musical talents after the war,Pavarotti is quite beloved here.

This is a zinnia, Mireille: a quite commom flower in Italy and most probably in Luxembourg too. You may not ricognize it because it's not jet completely blossomed.
