I agree about the paw. More leve ? Not for me. The slant is fun to me. Maybe a blurrer background (larger aperture) if possible, as it would help the cat "win" over what's behind - these strong lines. Still quite ok, and nice pose. Regards.

I really like the tilted angle, and the violet background at the top serves well. Careful about cutting the paws off.

cat pictures are hard to do-- this one works well because of that interesting bit of color above the subjects head. well done.
