I stopped off on my way home to catch a group of rowers on glassy sunset colored water. The past few weeks I've driven by viewing them from the freeway thinking that they'd make a great photo. Instead when I got into position it was low tide and my attention was immediately drawn to the shore birds looking for food. Scanning the scene for my photo of the day I was drawn to the birds behavior, their markings, their tracks and then... I couldn't see the beauty of the scene any longer. I could only see the hand of man and how one persons actions negatively impacted their home. Disgusted is the only way I can describe my feelings.
