Thanks for your supportive comment Czeslav. My goal here is to show that even in the process of aging and eventual death there is beauty. The old stereotype gives beauty and value to the fullness of eternal youth. I believe this needs to be challenged through elegant memories.

Well done, Bill. I certainly agree. Our culture's primary-color youth obsession precludes real appreciation of subtlety, of patina, of texture, of diversity, of the course of life. This photo is a portrait of every one of us, if not today, soon.
