beautiful light and shadowwork. the shadowline under the sphere is so sharp that it almost looks like it's a whole in the floor. And the composition is great because it gives the feeling that it rolls down a hill, but at the same time you know it's lying still. Well done

Nice abstract, Steve, and nice study in shadows and light! Good tones!

good!! the ball texture is really good, also the shadows

Wez     {K:14219} 2/26/2006
very cool. Why is the shadow sharper than the subject?? Maybe the shadow is the subject??

Either way i love the composition, great work.

Regards

I feel the shadow is trying to roll down the ball!
Nice idea Steve!

Steve Aronoff   {K:21279} 2/27/2006
Thanks, Fatemeh. It's been several days yet and the shadow still hasn't overtaken the ball.
Best,
Steve
