About A Mud pool at Rotorua City's Local Kuirau Park.Around 30 Hectares the Northen part of the Reserve was endowed by Ngati Whakaue, late in the 19th Century.
Much of the southern part of the reserve was developed during the Depression of the 1930's.The Northern part wasn't developed until later and still contains many Geothermal features.

Hi Rex
Oil is too expensive at the mo to leave it lying around!! :O) This is patterns created by nature!
As in the info i uploaded, this is one of the many Geothermal pools in Rotorua... and all the tourists were prepared to pay $70 NZ to sit in one!!:O) I have more similar stuff from this place in my folio if you like this sort of scene..
