I´m thinking of cross-processed slide....cause of the green hue. I like the vinage look here and the silence - or feeling of silence!

Yeahh, that's so nice unusual vision. Love the nice postprocessed image. Great vintage look, another fine artistic work as usual. Very fine scenery, lovely mistery landscape with cute swan. I can hear the peaceful silence.
Very well done dear Pan! :)

Have a nice day my friend!
Robert

Very pretty Pan. The swan and the little boat compliment each other in what looks like a very old photo. Nice PS work!

love this my friend. very good composition and arrangement. in the post process style, this is a ver good sample, too. more than this; it has got a "calm" melody.

my compliments,
tutku.

a melancolic song from the swan. looks like doesn't want fisherman's accompaniment. again impressive post-process Pan!!

So many contradictions in this beautiful example of Panism. I feel I am looking through an old dusty/dirty window from a darkened room out to the pristine lake. The lone swan gently gliding by and leaving ripples in its wake, gives an air of charming old worldly character. Then my eyes drift up and over to the lonely boat and I'm confronted with the modern age. Is that a jet-ski I see next to the boat Pan? :))

As always, love your work!
Cheers
Rina

Beautiful tones, the only one thing is the red part from the frame that distract a little, but only a little!

And a huge congratulations is in order for my Peter Pan for your involvment with the exhibition with Paradox Ethereal. Well deserved. I told you that good things are coming your way.

pan giannakis   {K:17134} 3/2/2006
Hey!!! How do you know about the exhibition ???? :)

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 3/2/2006
Ahhhh...you would be surprised where this little fairy might be flitting...now don't look behind you Peter Pan...fairies tend to be where you don't expect them...hehehehe!!

pan giannakis   {K:17134} 3/2/2006
It seems that i have lived too long with humans that i have forgotten the virtues of a fairy.
Pity i can't look behind :)

Pan, this is another work that I absolutely love. Thank you for your critiques on my latest images.

I just find it amazing that guys like me take digital images, and try to get that raw, gritty feel, but you do it on film, and in my opinion, making you part of a dying breed of artists. I wish I had half the talent you do.

You absolutely sure you dont' want a website done????

Thank you veeery much for your offer. If i deside it, you'll be the first to know :)

Steve Aronoff   {K:17896} 3/14/2006
There's so much to like about this photo, Pan. The post-processing treatment is terrific, the palette is great, and so is the composition. The one thing that bothers me is the swan itself and the ripples that surround it. It's as if the swan was dropped in from another photo. The rest of the photo has a slightly blurry, misty feel to it, like an image from a dream when you're just waking up. I think the photo would be more effective if the clarity and tone of the swan and the ripples around it more closely matched those of the rest of the photo. This really does come down to a matter of personal preference, for there's really nothing "wrong" with the photo as you've given it. Very creative and well done!
Steve

Hi Avi,

Thank you for your kind words once again :)

You should never forget these. In fact, I want to see you work again on these layers.. I can learn this stuff from you. I am serious.
