An interesting treatment of the pansy, Bill! The dark and mysterious side!

I like this photo very much, Bill. The colors, tone, and composition are all harmonious. The only thing I don't like is the frame. The composition including the part contained in the frame is great, but the composition restricted by the frame is not nearly so interesting. I think it would be really worth while to can the frame or at least to use a frame that does not alter the photo.
Well done!
Steve

If you haven't noticed Steve, I'm a frame "jukie"! I can see where not having the frame in this case would probably have aided the picture as a whole. Thanks for the constructive critique...really do apprecitate the feedback. Regards--Bill V.

Great title, Bill. It does remind me of the shape of an aurora at the zenith. I do love your frames, but in this case, I tend to agree with Steve. This frame does close in this picture somewhat. Maybe it is my image of an aurora freely dancing across the sky with no boundaries. I do really like the combination of colours that are nicely contrasting.
Mary
