About Similar theme to the last picture; desire to change but nothing done. Slight move on in that the words are retrospective. Consequences of doing nothing.

Very creative Mary. I love the perspective and the close cropping on these keys. Very nice job.

Nice contrast and lighting Mary. Do you Play?
I always wanted to learn but have a hard time doing two different things with my hands. They only want to mimic each other!

Paul

I like alot this b/w image ,the perspective is wonderful as well as the sharpness ,details and so beautiful to view , all of the best my friend.

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 3/1/2006
Thanks Susie. Any tips to get this to fit all in one on the viewing screen?! I only cut a tiny bit off the right. But then put words right at top and bottom, so could cut no more to change shape! Is it that I would have needed to do? Anyways, glad you liked it.

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 3/1/2006
Mimicking hands- good one!...they can mimic eachother on the keyboard...if you play chords on guitar, you can do it on piano. Been playing since a child, but not so much practice now. Glad you liked piccy Paul. Had trouble getting it all on the screen in one go to see and couldn't cut it (I have not very visible words top and bottom). Would I have to have changed shape of it ja reckon?

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 3/1/2006
Thanks Rashed- glad that you liked it.

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 3/1/2006
Thanks Ace- really am pleased you liked this. I spent weeks trying to learn how to do it! Just couldn't get it to fit the screen and wasn't sure the words were clear. But couldn't let them go- I'm a terror for words ....."words got power"...you ain't wrong!

Trish McCoy   {K:16519} 3/1/2006

An excellent, creative idea Mary with a wonderful bold crop. No more detail required in this superb mono toned composition as there is no mistaking what the subject matter is. A really lovely shot of this violin.....I joke. Well done to you, sorry I'm late in commenting, poor health. Best wishes to you....Ray

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 3/2/2006
Never mind pictures, I'm sorry your health has been poor. Nothing as hard to fight I know. So thank-you for writing....about my VIOLIN!!! Did make me laugh as I was useless at that! Pleased you liked the picture and it came out OK. Thanks for letting me know.

Well done closeup of the keys, Mary! I like the way you've taken a familiar object and turned it into a special and interesting image.
