Wow Ina this is gorgeous! It looks almost like a painting, especially the people. The colors are so well saturated...it's very intense. What a beautiful sight, people out enjoying the park even in the middle of winter. If it wasn't for the modern car on the right this might be from several decades ago. Nice job!
Susie

Preciosa toma Ina, me gusta el dorado de la luz, cada elemento muy cuidado. Felicitaciones por tan bonita composición!!!

Kathy Hillard   {K:25721} 3/1/2006
Very nice, Ina! Great colors, and the details are amazing! I would think this might be a perfect choice to drop in a more colorful sky.
Nice one!
Kathy

I love the colours and detail in this. Great feel.

Dave Stacey   {K:123175} 3/1/2006
Wonderful lighting, Ina! The colours are beautiful and the whole scene makes and excellent pano! I like the contrast between the smooth water behind the dam, and the rough, blue water downstream.
Dave.

Another fine panoramic shot by you! Very nice artistic
photograph, looks like an oil paintig. Many nice details.
Love the well detailed reflection on the water, that's
a nice effect. The warm tonal details are very superb like as a painting!
I think this is a perfect natural composition from you, my friend!
Congrats for this beauty! Thanks for share us! Hugs!

Have a nice day dear Ina!

Hi Ina! Another great couple! Both are lovely, with beautiful colours and people enjoying the warm sun. Hard to say which one I like better. Here I love what the dam with its cool reflections adds to the picture, on the other hand the sky looks a bit anemic, but that´s not your fault :) Looking at these panos makes one feel warm! *hugs*

Very nice composition. I like the way that the park is framed by the trees at the top and the dam on the left. Nice tones.

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 3/1/2006
Hi Kathy, and thanks for your visit & comment :)
I had the same thought, and tried a light blue sky, light pink, and a light grey on this shot, and they all darkened the atmosphere. After several attempts I left the sky natural, I think it provided a needed light balance and eye-relief from the saturated colors :) Best regards, Ina
PS - I'll be away for a few days, see you soon!

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 3/1/2006
Thanks Susie for your visit & comment! You can't see it at this scale, but there is a Bait and Tackle shop sign too :)
I'll be off for about a week or less Susie, and I'll have to stop writing "thank you" notes, in order to have more time to visit my friends' portfolios.
I hope you don't mind if I don't reply "Thanks" - I mean it anyway! If there is a question, of course I will reply :)
Best regards, Ina

Hi Elisa, as Kathy mentioned the same thing about the sky, I tried a number of blue, pink & grey skies and all had the effect of darkening the mood and upsetting the light balance in the picture, so I left it natural.
Thanks very much for your visit & comments Elisa, I'll be away for a week, and I won't write any more "thank you" messages from now on, my time is best spent visiting my friends' pictures. I hope you don't mind if I don't reply "Thanks" - I mean it anyway! If there is a question, of course I will reply :)
Hugs, Ina

Again the golden tones matched by brick and the willow branches. The pano holds an amazing amount of detail. Sad to say, Ina, this time I find the dam foreground distracting. I like the photo, nonetheless!

Hi Ina,
Hey - never feel like you have to reply to my comments! ) Your visits to my portfolio are thanks enough. I really appreciate your friendship and support over the last...well, almost year I guess. Have fun, relax and I hope to see you online!
Susie

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 3/2/2006
Hi Susie, here I go again: I've been almost 6 months on UF - not even a year - but it seems a lot longer! I meant I will reply if there is a need, if not I'd rather visit than write "Thank you" - because you know I really mean it :) Thanks again! Ina

NN     {K:26787} 3/2/2006
Hi Ina, of course I don´t mind! Besides, you´ve said "Thanks" in your bio page. A very wise decision by you, as time is the most important restricted resource! *hugs*

This is my favourite of the two for I love the reflections in the upper level of still water. The colours and details in the composition as a whole are beautiful with the most wonderful clarity. Well done to you my dear Ina. I am sorry I am late in commenting but health problems prevail. Very best wishes to you......Ray

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 3/2/2006
Ray, thank you and don't worry about comments, just take care of yourself and get well soon :) Ina
