About "Bunga telur" is a Malay word for fake flower usually made of fabric or plastic given to the guests as a sign of gratitute for attending a wedding ceremony. It also comes with a boiled egg.

"It also comes with a boiled egg."!!! Well, I'm sure there must be more to this explanation! It made me laugh, which is probably totally the wrong reaction...

I like this image and the idea to present it as high-key B&W. I think this works well for the main part of the image (the flower), but results in a little too much loss of detail in other parts (eg. the frills at the top and the stems of the little hearts).

Yes. It does come with a boiled egg. Really. :)

Somehow people like giving boiled egg over here in Malaysia during wedding ceremony. There is also one type of boiled egg in which it involves boiling the egg in variety of herbs for hours, turning it into a brown boiled egg. As for the boiled egg that came with this flower, I think you should know where it went (into my stomach).

As for the picture, I tried to have all the parts in focus, and this one was the sharpest one. You're right about it losing details in some other parts. I'll try to improve it.

Thank you for the lovely comment, especially the funny reaction that you had reading the description :)

Regards.
