Nice tones, nice selective focus. The model is making nice eye contact with the camera. she is also showing lots of attitude. Very nice black and white.

Great portfolio by the way. I love shooting kids too - it's what I do for a living now and you are clearly a top shooter in that dept. This pic is pleasing but for me lacks the final punch. I shot a very similar portrait some time ago - see in my portfolio...

The general comments have been that it's a great shot of the girl, but the composition doesn't work for most because of it being 50/50 rather than a 1/3 split (following some std rules of photography!). I like it though and it's good to see something similar appearing.
Your composition here has the model actually facing slightly out of frame with teh srtong leading line of the wall coming in very aggresively from the left. I maybe think it would have more harmony if the model were facing into the wall rather than her back too it. This is just my personal preference and very much based on the fact that it was how I shot my image.
It is overall a very simple bold composition but maybe I would like to see less volume pof one tone - i.e. the large amount of wall and also her top being very black.
