That's the most colourful water tower I've seen, Don! A very good, clear capture, and your framing effects enhance the image very well.
Dave.

Hey Don, does the color help deflect tornadoes? I to must admit thats the most colorful water tower I've ever seen. Ours is standard silver. I'm not sure but I don't think I like the brush treatment.
Cheers - JB

That's a very unusual water tower, Don. Looks like a hot-air balloon on a golf tee. I like the brush effects and framing. Very effective. Unusual, like the subject. Cheers, Ann.

Very nice shot, and the framing really enhances the effect. Congratulations . . .

Best wishes,

A very interesting background treatment, Don. You are always coming up with something new. I really like this! Larry

Ooooooooooooooh would love to get my hands (well ehm read camera.. ;-D) on this one!!! Fantastic colors, would've loved to see it more 'up-close'... but maybe that's not possible... The effect is a bit 'over the top' for my liking and you went over the tower a couple of times which I think is a shame... sorry... Maybe you can: 'Go back Jack (read Don... ;-D) and do it again...' LOL!!!

A creative marval, very pleasing and well presented.

Yes we do need water. Been raining a lot here. Too much to go out and photograph but it's nice to have everything green. Excellent image and composition on this one.

Now this is what I call a FANCY water tower, Don! Colorful and well captured.

To brush or not to brush: that is the question.
I think a different brush would have been better. Actually, I'm thinking that this technique would be better on a floral or landscape, and that perhaps a straight framing would be better for the water tower!

But.......we all have different opinions! :)

Good job,
Lori :)
