Casey Lannette   {K:742} 2/6/2008
oh nooo the word is out, I thought I had that on the down low :)

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 2/6/2008
Oh my, i am not sure of what you mean, exactly :( This my english will kill me one day :)

Casey Lannette   {K:742} 2/6/2008
It meant I was keeping it quiet,(down low) how are you today?

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 2/6/2008
Ahhhh....one more expression for my vocabulary, thank you :)
I am well, have returned to work, after 4 days of hoolidays, due to carnival celebrations...a thing that i dont celebrate at all, except in sleeping til late :)
And how are you today?

Casey Lannette   {K:742} 2/6/2008
I am lovely, the wind is blowing strong we had tornados here last night, and though you dont celebrate, its nice to get the days off for holiday :) sleepyhead

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 2/6/2008
Yes, sleep+yhead, a bit, but not everyday, or every week i can have this right :)
Here in Portugal, we dont have tornados, or snow....just the same temperature always, around +15, on this last winter days. Weather is the only worth thing of Portugal !

Marta .   {K:1528} 5/29/2008
Is it a real person or a monument?
Or did you just paste it here?

Cool idea :)))

M.

Malules Fernandez   {K:3053} 5/29/2008
Amazing!!!
Fantastic capture. I like it so much.

regards,
Malules

Andy Seehusen   {K:1626} 5/29/2008
Nice idea, I like the surreal impact. Did you consider placing the subject towards the bottom of the photo so the pointing finger would be leading the "up" towards something out of sight? Just a though.
andy

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 5/29/2008
yes this was my main intention, but right above the finger was visible the side of the river, and it would lose the impact of the graphism :)

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 5/29/2008
This is a floating monument placed in one of the rivers that cross Stockolm, totally natural photo :)
Thank you for your comments, Marta :)
Jorge

Andy Seehusen   {K:1626} 5/29/2008
Ah... hate it when that happens. It's still a great shot. Well done.

Indeed, this empty spce below the hand is a bit non sense, but anyway we still like it a bit:)
Thank you a lot for your attention Andy !
Hugs

Estimado Jorge,
Me sigue pareciendo buenísma!

Gracias por el interés.
Un abrazo,
Malules

Añado:
Ya que en "in the train" recordé a Hopper, aquí recuerdo a Magritte.

Saludos cordiales,
Malules

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 5/30/2008
I didnt know Magritte, at least by name, i am watching now on internet some things of her, and i recognize some of her paintings already. Thank you for your point of view, my best regards!

jorge carvalho   {K:4474} 5/30/2008
Yes, yes, you explained well the differences of this two concepts. I am a bit lazy to think so deep , and my knowledgment is not so vast, but you are right, and i still like even more of your 'abstractions'.
