About Sixth in a series, getting closer.

Backlighting adds a bit of a glow as I peer into the flower.

Natural lighting - sunlight from a window. Just place on the floor and start contorting around and taking shots.

good composition, nice color management and positioning but the out-of-focus portion of the petal in foreground is little bit distracting. otherwise it is a nice shot

Your lighting is superb. Nice work.

Great image Michael. I like the use of backlighting and the inclusion of the green in the background. The shallow DoF also works well although I think a little bit more would add a bit needed detail on the petal. A slight tilt to the left could also give a stronger angular line and better utilisation of space on the left. Nonetheless a beautiful and artsistic presentation of this flower. Great work.

Beautiful calla shot. One of my favourite models :) I like the idea of background lighting... Wonderful composition, perfect balance of shapes and colours
