This is a great capture, so many things to like about it, the first thing i noticed are the colors and the highlights on the mountain top, the inclusion of the moon.., the shape of the dark land and the shape of the muddy water on the center part of the image are almost inversely identical, making an illusion of another reflection. The reflection on the calm water is very nice except for that piece of land that disrupted an otherwise very hypnotizing reflected images... maybe a little cropping at the bottom to eliminate the dark spot on the lower right.. or cloning.
regards kabayan...

Nice job Roland, a great park to taken photos. I can appreciate the research time and effort that you put in here. It happens few times yearly, and you got a clear night! Congratulations on this beautiful piece.

Purple Mountain's Majesty. Great capture here Roland. Death Valley is another of those truly scenic places filled with potential shots.

Hi Roland, thanks for your comment, drawing my attention to your DV photos. Spectacular vista of badwater! Love the snowy peaks and the pastel light on them. the moonset really adds the finishing touch here.

A pity about the jetty, though. Good thing it's there to protect the delicate environment, but it makes the angles of photography / choice of PoV rather limited...

Awesome shot!

Cheers,

Hugo
