Excellent pictures, and I could see the influence even before I saw the title. I think that they would work better as a set if the background aligned a little more - the cords that the coathangers are from and the horizon-line especially. The repeated but not indentical background is a little distracting too.

But having said that, these seem to have been intended first as individual photographs and only later as a complete series. As individuals they are marvellous. As a set, they may need a little tweaking.

But still - very well done!
