I like both 1 & 2. The golden shades are wonderful. Great work. Are these all results from the recent visit with your father? If so, better go more often!!

For a while I thought it was sand there until I read Don's comments. I like the shadows, the contrast and the rich yet simple colors. Great Pic!

Snow, sunsets and a cool looking fence.... this all comes together so well. I like the parallel track in the bottom of the frame, but the one thing that would have been a nice exclusion would be the tracks running from top left diagonal to the right. I keep thinking it's part of the fence, and it messes with my mind.
This is my fave out of the two you uploaded... clean, clear, and with wonderful sparkles of snow. Great job! Where are some more pictures??? *grin* (8)

Now this is a very nice shot, Becky...

Beautiful shot, Becky. You should be happy with this one. The colors are fantastic. No filters? Even better!

This one reminds me a bit of my shot of SIO Pier with the sun casting long shadows off of the pillars onto the beach. I love the softness of the snow. You can almost feel the warmth of the sun on your face fighting the crisp chill of the air.

Now for the nit-picking to try to make the comment helpful in some way. The hot area giving the strongest reflection from the sun keeps drawing my eye to that region of the photo. Could you have gotten lower, and maybe closer to the fence to bring that bright area into the bacground of the fence rather than just an empty region of the photo?

Congrats on yet another awesome shot.

~Adam~

as you should be. and no PS work?! i like this one better than glow #2. i think the lines work better in terms of perspective etc. it's a close call, but i think i'd prefer the bottom shadow taken out. it seems to detract from the lines fanning out.
