Wow! that's beautiful! The blue mid tones are amazing against the sky.
This is so hard and striking! I love it!
I think it would work also, if you cropped this in 1/2, so that the trees were not in frame... what do you think? ..or would that make it a different kinda of photo-art image?

HI Don, i have to tell you i could nothing about the highlight area cause if derives from a building behind me, and this statue was shoot with backlight .... So, i think it was a window giving this reflection on the statue... Not so much time to wait either cause the sun was going down and what happends then is that the highlight would disappear! well..... wish is another thing!

I like the way this one differs so much from the next photo 'flames', since I'm assuming it's the same statue in both shots. This one has a very cold atmosphere to it, whilst 'flames' brings out a rather warm feeling. I sure love that blue sky.. we've been getting some of that here in Helsinki lately also :) the best part of winter, for sure!
