This looks great, very moody, very well done )

David M Roberts   {K:896} 3/14/2006
very impressive work here Brian, the saturation is leveled perfectly, certainly speeks of a generation

Steve Aronoff   {K:17717} 3/14/2006
I love the photo, Brian. The ghostly building is really nicely done. I'm a little puzzled by the title, because the body position doesn't seem to me to be one typical of teenagers. (Or is it the land that's a teenager?) Who cares. The photo's great!
Steve

The midas touch Brian. Each "you" has the tiniest change in shadow strength, making it appear as though you've been captured at three split second intervals. Flawless post work IMO. I'd be very proud to show this poster off.

Congrats for the DoD!!!
Cheers
Rina.

"Out here in the fields
I fought for my meals...The exodus is here"

Big fan of your work. Like this very much. If you're looking for honest gut response from viewerd...here is mine: I might like this more if the three figures were slightly different from one another. I immediately wondered if there was a purpose to three identical figures or if it was simply a convenient way to add more "stuff" to the f/g. Just what came to MY mind. With all due respect, MG

brian underdown   {K:-1173} 3/15/2006
hi mort, the three figures is me , the one on the far right was the original shot of me walking across the field using tripod and timer.i simply duplicated three layers and moved them across.the field was a place wher ei used to venture as a teenager which is now soon to become a housing development!appreciate your points .

thank you rina ,yes if you look close there are some small differences, quite suprised about the DOD has this was a personal challenge for a poster.

Just good idea,
but not a good Photo,
I know it's important the subject, but it's important we have Photos untouched with this level,
Because then, we don't know how to Analyze photos,
it's a good artwork,
Well done to you,
Best wishes,
Mohammad

brian underdown   {K:-1173} 4/20/2006
mohammad your choice of words are not constructive my friend, however i think i understand .it is not always important to analyze a photo thoroughly the important part is to construct your view on what you first had seen. if we sit there analyze and look for the defects then we would spend much our time being a bunch of miserable of people and not valueing the efforts many make. in this picture above i make no effort to disguise its a creation and manipulation of a teenage view i once had.
by all means say what you feel but make sure your own work values the comment. otherwise ill eat your goldfish shots alive.

brian

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 4/20/2006
you have right Brian, I do apology for my destructive words,
I assume my works are not valuable at all, each time I submit them.
Very Best Regards,
Mohammad
