thanks so much! Its funny often there is a shot where that I think is only soso. And when I upload it, it turns out many people love it. In a different online photo community this photo got 700 views within 2 weeks or so.

Angela Freed   {K:10061} 4/6/2006
Wow, a stunning capture! I love it. The backdrop, which is probably just a bush, caught my attention first as looking like sparkles all aroung the subject. I couldn't figure out for aminute how you would have done that. Very interesting David. Well done.

David,

THis is a cracking shot. I love your portfolio full stop, but was drawn to this one straight away.

I too tried varying angles on a swing shot and have been pleased with my results but seeing this makes me wanna try even harder next time.

I know how hard it is to focus and framewhen the subject is swinging, so truely appreciate how well you've done to get this - I bet there were a lot of outtakes!

Perfect expression, great tonal range and texture. You've done well or were lucky on the background, as too often places with swings have cluttered backgrounds so this has simply helped the shot along leaps and bounds.

As a note - the focus is actually off having said you've done well with it but the experession makes up for this and in no way does focus not being on the face detract from this shot.

Just wonderful.

Ill be keeping an eye on your portfolio in future.

Regards
Matt
