This photo really appeals to me, I like its simplicity. It would be nice to see slightly more of the stems so that the complete form is seen, although the blooms should continue to have the emphasis.

I like how these turned out for you, although I would opt for a little less light on the stems so that they weren't fighting with the blooms. Just enough light to know they're there, but not enough to distract. Great toning too..feels like soft midnight glow through a window.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Agree with the observations regarding lighting on the stems and will keep that in mind during the next 'experiment'.

Wow! Keep experimenting. This is great. My only suggestion would be to add a touch of light to the bottom of the glass vase.
