Hi Rich, nice shot, and I like the natural framing by the bark. The flashlight shadow is a bit distracting, and as you were rather close (so it seems), the flare on top also reduces the impact of this photo. Not sure when you shot this, but maybe with a hight ISO sensitivity you could've taken this photo without flash? The fox seems fairly stationary, so maybe even a slow shutter and a tripod could've helped here. Nice shot, though.
