Hi Amit, When were you in Death Valley? Love this feel of spring in the barren, seemingly lifeless landscape. Very good use of DOF too, to create a very strong feel of distance.
The low camera position works very well here, but I think you could also have taken it from even lower, making the tall flower stick out above the mountains, breaking the various layers (flowerfield, mountains and sky) even more. Very good shot, though. The dramatic sky, and the ominous tones really add to the atmosphere. Very impressive shot.

OH ho, its a brilliant take. The yellow colour at the front....Bluish tone of the mountains and the cloudy look at tha background...everything mingles together to create a great job indeed.
