I know they are hard subjects to photograph out in the pond for they are usually sunning theirselves in bright sunlight with the water. Like this composition of Rafael.

Thanks Robert . . . They lure in our pond easily using fish and crickets (which they love to eat). We have two red (and one yellow) sliders, an outdoor pond and large indoor tank (which is best for photographing).

He sure is beautiful- I love turtles too- as a kid I had a pet box turtle for 12 years! Great framing here too. Tell Rafael he is very photogenic!
