I'm becomeing a big fan of yours Keith, you get around those Islands don't you??
Again very interesting shot. You do a good job with wide angle and DOF.
Bill

I like your composition and the vertical orientation in this one, Keith! The snow on the foreground rocks really adds to the feeling of cold and dreariness.

another very nice composition Keith (i agree w/Bill) you have a portfolio that i'm really enjoying! your perspective on this old ruin makes a very attractive piece, and technically the depth of field is excellent

WOW! What a fantastic set of pictures you have. I must ask, how did you manage to get everything in focus? I find when I try a shot like this I lose the background focus. Have you ever sent any pictures in to magazines before? I'm sure I recognise your name.
Regards
Lorraine

Thanks Lorraine

All you do is use an aperture of f16 or f22, put your camera on a tripod as you will get a very low shutter speed and then shoot away.
Use the aperture priority setting (AV on a canon)
I put a lot of pics in the Journal and was a judge on BBC Look North weather pictures in January
