nice graphic and good exposure on this diagonal composition.. you can see the great tension on the rope that holds this boat from sliding back.. and also the loops of rope laying on the ground for reserves...

Wonderful image Joćo!
This is a beautiful compostion.
What's interesting, is that one could say it's an abstract photo, and want to crop the letters off of the boat. But I find that seeing the numbers adds life to the image, and tells me that the boat is not just anywhere. it's in Portugal.
The tension in the rope, and that little green twine not only look as if they are holding the boat to the dock, by they also act as the force holding the image together.
Very well done Joćo! I like this very much! Wonderful color, and contrast!

Hi Joao,
By all means a good shot; the elements are all there: subtle lighting, fine details and textures, and in essence a good composition.
Yet, to me, it's somehow not enough to really make it tick; I think it's the diversion this image creates between the various elements; the name of the boat and the rope (including the metal parts on the bow it's connected to) make the eye shift back and forth. Maybe excluding the text from the composition would create a more harmonious composition, but I think it's a very good match and fit with the others in this series - if seen together.
