About Twenty four photographs of a recent bloom from a potted plant. Let me know which ones you think are the most successful, and I will post the full version.

Let me know which ones are lacking and why so I can avoid doing that in the future.

Some shots have different depths of field and color treatment.

Thanks Critiquers!

In case you want to see the set up for these shots - here it is. A plant placed by the window, all natural light. A black stuffed toy dog makes the black background.

Hi Mike,

The most successful is the most difficult question, and I'd have to select two: sixth column, second row (very subtle lighting and a good composition) and second column, third row. (great tones, lighting and an intriguing part / composition, as well as a nice dynamic diagonal placement)

The least successful: I'd say the whole fourth row and fifth and sixth column, third row. (too centered / static for me, and also a bit too abstract. Can't really judge the detailing and finer elements in those small photos, though.

Cheers,

Hugo

Looks perfect to me. It also looks like a lot of work that could easily sell. This would look terrific done up about 4'x 4', framed and hung on the wall of someone's home.

Bart -

Maybe. These were taken at ISO 1600 and are pretty grainy. I'll try to post a few seperately and see what people think.

the diffrent angles r very succsseful....i'll pick one of each...the diagonal effect:the third row with the fourth column..the sixth column with second row is very good shot for the whole flower.....the third row with the sixth column captures the texture realy well and got a nice soft mood...i've got a similar construct in my collection..plz comment
