First thing I thought was 'Meryl Streep'! The lighting is just beautiful, feminine even. I'm a fan of contrasts so the large dark area works well for me here. The only criticism is, and I'm sure its the scan, is the slight lack of definition. The softness I like.

This portrait is absolutely lovely. I too like the composition. Would like the opportunity to view it printed for exhibit?

Dean Cochrane   {K:335} 2/27/2003
Wow. Beautiful. I love the composition and the use of negative space, the way she's reduced to a head and arms, the position of her hands, the soft light on her hair, the hint of her jacket, the halo on the wall behind... this is really good. If I have a criticism, it's that she's just a tiny bit too soft.

You have a wonderful eye for composition. This is one that I'd print and hang on my wall. And submit for competition.

Perfectly done. Usually I like the light and shadoes also.

I really like the result here, which is reminiscent of some paintings by Georges de la Tour.

Simplesmente perfeito!!!
