Wonderful mood, the out of focus and slow shutter speed really add to the shot. A moment glimpsed, memories of walking in the rain, excellent photo.

Karina Brys   {K:16541} 3/31/2006
I can only agree with the previous comments. Brilliant!

dear Thilo,
you re welcome again!. really i loved this, great moment taken in the night. very good DOF. it looks like almost an abstract to the photo.

my best wishes,
tutku.

one of my favorites because of it's great contemporary concept.
the cuting is thoughtful and makes the shot vetry different.
where they are going. to the sky?!
a great intense sepia to enhance the concept. bravo for this good crop!

Fabiola Barrientos   {K:8073} 3/31/2006
I love this type scene...because is like a something "hide"...good idea and of course good work too.

Hi Thilo,
Isn't it amazing how the body language of the people in an image can change the mood so drastically? Although this shot has a lot of similar elements to your last image "WWII Veteran" The mood is so much more light hearted. It is not because of the title either. I believe your titles came from the mood you sensed in the body language. This is a beautiful shot that benifits from the muted toning that you applied. Funny how even though the other shot is brighter, the mood is still darker :)
In this image I imagine a light-hearted pace to the movements of the "Couple In Love" Hurrying home to a bottle of wine and a nice dinner, no doubt!
Andre

Beautiful colours and very interesting concept Thilo. Without the title the image would not convey the same message. What it signifies to me is the emotions within people who are madly in love - everything becomes fuzzy/moving - no clarity, except perhaps what lies behind. Great work

Hi Kiarang,

thanks for the supportive words. The crop is something I wasn't too sure. Glad I had the courage. Thx for the great feedback.

great work Thilo.. I love the blurry image.. reminds me of one that I posted a long time ago from Paris... excellent

Roger Williams   {K:82213} 4/5/2006
These shots are very similar to the short series that Ahmet Baki Kocaballi took recently. You might like to take a look if you don't know his work... I'm touched that you decided to make me a "friend" Thilo...

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 4/6/2006
Hi Roger,

Baki is one of my friends, and we both seemed to have the same inspiration ;-)

Thanks for browsing by! And hey: I should have added you earlier as a friend =)

Thilo

Roger Williams   {K:82213} 4/6/2006
Well, Thilo, you've been as "associate" of mine (a sort of anonymous friend [g]) ever since I first came across your images, but I am a very literal, plodding, journalistic sort of photographer and I've been quite blind to the attractions of some of what you do (although I've also had my eyes opened to some new, hitherto unconsidered possibilities, for which I thank you), so I really am pleased that you decided to do this, particularly as I am on something of a panorama "roll" these days. Definitely not everyone's taste!

Omar Rifaat   {K:10135} 4/9/2006
great atmosphere and feeling!

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91033} 4/12/2006
hi there, adore this image! the artistic crop makes it,Thilo....soooooooo romantic...IMO,the thin white border needs to go and i think a thin deep black one would work well with the flat black wide border...the reflective light is so very appealing...congrats!...i'll cook the dinner if anyone wants to bring the wine?..LOL..
hugs,gayle 7+
