About Another of the series of 360-degree panoramas I took with my circular fisheye lens at the famous Takahatafudo Temple. This is cropped, for viewing as a flat image, from the original (rather deeper) image which is best viewed with a virtual reality plug-in. The wider latitude of negative film enables me to include the shadowed area under the portal along with the areas in bright sunlight, although some PS work was required...

Very interestingly and attractively stitched together! A wonderful view through the portal which turns into a new piece of architecture in your photo!Very impressive! I like this one, too.

Incredible work Roger. Wonderful details and great colour in this highly interesting scene. What are you doing right that so many appear to be doing wrong? The put on a panoramic shot and it looks exactly the same size as the large; what's that all about??? Looks to me that you need to give some tuition any time you spot this, Take care my friend....Cheers...Ray

Thanks Ray. Not everyone wants to put up large images. Some are afraid of people downloading them and effectively "stealing" their photos. I often hear this. But I do sometimes suggest that people should take advantage of the ability to put up larger images... mentioning that this would have shown their panorama to greater advantage. As with so many things on Usefilm, the powers that be are not very good at getting the message out. Where would YOU tell someone to look to find out about the unlimited panorama size capability? I know about it beccause I'd been pushing for it for over two years, and making a pest of myself in the process. [grin]
