WONDERFUL DOF EFFECT FOR WELL CATCHED STEMM..WELL CAPTURED AND DONE..A LITTLE SOFT AND WEAK CONTRAST BETWEEN THE OBJECT OF INTEREST AND THE BACKGROUND BUT THE IDEA IS GREAT!!!

I do agree with you Ahmed about the contrast, this is obvious in the bw because of color ilimination, but it gives stronger meaning for the photo IMHO. the color version shows more details of the stemm. and its colors are more interesting. might post it soon.

I have one with the same title in my gallery. I too love cactuses.. have a collection back in Pakistan. I agree they are amazing.. specially the contrast when they bloom!
