Wonderful work - great lighting and symmetry and so simple. Bravo.

Hi Manu,
The golden tones in combination with the somewhat gloomy and heavy shape is excellent, I believe it fits well with the bold and centered composition. Also, the section view, with cropped / cut off parts all edges balances this photo nicely.

Good shot, it bears your signature style!

Cheers,

hugo

Yeah - this was what i ment! :) This crop make it strong and i really like it like this....the golden light against the concrete and metal has a great impact.
(Check my webbsite, i have a new portfolio named "Geomtry and Concrete")

Nice light Manu and very good sense of a heavy weight with the framing like this.

YES! Just the short of thing that Jeanette does so well. Me? I'd probably stand underneath it and take an all-round panorama. Ha, ha... The opposite approach! I love the rich golden quality of the light, but I can't help feeling it's been given a bit of a boost in PS... because even the sky blue seems to have quite a bit of gold in it! Tell me it isn't so, Manu!

Manu     {K:13094} 4/10/2006
Hi Roger
The only PS work was in levels to encourage the feel of grime and smog. It is this smog that gives it the orange/green appearance in the sky area along with the late afternoon light.

Hope that clears thing for you....good comment by the way

Cheers

Manu
