Dawn,

You are right about your shot. You are learning, self critiquing. The composition is really great! Seeing the freight train coming through the pass as the sun was peaking through the mountains, great timing. Keep 'em coming. You are showing improvement, and a desire to learn.

I'm not sure I agree that this was the right moment. I like the picture.If it were a little more focused and there was a little more color in the fore ground like maybe in the spring . I think i would love it. Just my two cent worth.

Yor right about the sharpness but you know what you did wrong. Nice idea though, you will nail it next time.
