Phil, it's an osteospermum. It grows in the gardens as it comes from far, from South Africa.
Here is not at his best as is captured against a very stark sun. I wish it seems a Easter sun. I hope to show to you the flower in all his splendour.

This is my second favorit! It really looks like a combination of photo and drawing - we have natural organic shapes, and almost human drawn contrast and contoure lines.
Here I must ask? How on this world did you shoot that?

Thanks Peter for your two comments that I appreciated very much. As to the background, when the contrast is too stark, as in this case, I make two identic shots: one more and one less exposed; then I lay them on.

I am glad for your comment Jason, also because it has given to me the chance of discovering your home. I've seen that you, like me, love nature and flowers, look for light contrasts, possibly at dawn and sunset. You have very good eyes endeed for lights.
