Wow.....the 'lines' on the beach and the ocean fringe, the clouds, and a bold reflection all come together to make a really pleasing landscape, the flags stand as a reminder that human kind has taken over here..............a lovely place to be on Good Friday Rina, Happy Easter. cheers, david.

All of today's are very nice Rina! This is my fav though. I like the great tones in the others, but the sky and the little pops of color from the flags really grab my attention. Nice job all the way around. Have a great Easter weekend!

I love the tones in the other two and the silhouetted figure on the shore but this is my favourite of the three. I love the colour tones to this, the sky details are wonderful, the reflections just beautiful and that big imposing rock is BIG. I wouldn't want to stub my toe on that one!! I love too the fluttering of the flag and the slight hint of the second one further along. Well done to you sweetiepie.....enjoy the holiday weekend and 'see' you again soon. Big hugs....Rayxxx

wow! beautiful reflections on the wet sand. very attractive beach you have there, looks very wide. It looks so pristines and you want to run to leave some marks on the sand.

hi, just my opinion,but i think you can afford to crop down from the top a bit to change this from being split in the middle...i really like the perspective showing the expanse of beach,the reflections,silhouette,and the clarity..beautiful place and shot!

To answer your question, in Australia and New Zealand, voluntary Surf Lifeguards watch over public beaches. As well as helping folk that get into trouble in the water, they keep an eye on surf conditions, rips etc... and place those flags along the beach as an indication for swimmers that it is safest to keep between them.

Hi Rina! Hope you had a great easter weekend! I see some really beautiful images being uploaded to your portfolio lately! Especially the last three series sets! Lovely work! & i like this one best among this series, for the same reason that susie pointed out! A hint of red/yellow or any other bright colour in a composition of other usual colours always makes it stand out! Also, the framing & symmetry in this one is awesome. The reflection & the lines makes the image very interesting! as are other pics uploaded recently by you.

A great capture! The two flags in the perspective generate the feeling of... wanting to walk, to go to that direction - to the island! And though its reflection is so near the island itself seems to be very very far away. The perfectly captured wet sand supports that feeling of going, of travelling far away to that distant island which is right here in fantasy.
