Hi ya Ray!! Hope all is good for ya's over your way! Thanks for your encouraging comments, Yeah I like the Dof, because I wanted his tail to be soft looking like a veil as im sure they are soft to touch too! He sure was keen to peck anything outta my hands, glad i was in the car! ;O)

Hi Ron!, thanks for leaving your comment.. I'd be interested as to know what is disturbing about the bg? my main focus of course is the bird's head nearly in my face, rather than focusing on his tail as everyone does! ;O)

Tabitha, I'm sure that I'm being way to picky but I looked too long at the bg which I would not have done if it was a little more oof. Maybe it is the strong colour, green, that bothers me. trust me it is a very personal thing and your shot stands out regardless.
